Larry Seaquist

Rep. Larry Seaquist is Chair of the Higher Education Committee and a member of the Appropriations, Appropriations Subcommittee on Education, and Education Committees. He has been a Navy warship captain, naval consultant and strategist, conflict prevention designer, and implementer at the international level. He is a lecturer, writer, and blogger on currents events and a promoter of world peace. In the House his focus has been on dealing with the issues of preparing students for the science, math, and high-tech jobs needed in Washington state. He is concerned about and dedicated to cleaning up Puget Sound. He understands the necessity of sustainable use of finite resources and continues to work on serious water quantity and quality challenges that are already manifest on the Kitsap Peninsula in his district. He supports efforts to reduce toxic and green house gas emissions for the health of the environment, wildlife, and humanity. He has a solid lifetime voting record and is always willing to discuss legislative and policy issues with Sierra Club. Vote for Seaquist.
