City of Houston, Proposition C Parks Bond on the Ballot November 7, 2017

In general, the Houston Sierra Club supports the protection and restoration of land for the conservation of our natural resources, wildlife, and well-being of people to enjoy green spaces. Among the half dozen propositions on the November 7 ballot, Proposition C addresses our wild urban spaces and the funding the City of Houston will need to manage them.  This is not an official endorsement of proposition C by the Houston Sierra Club; however, the club seeks to inform its membership about the local use of our natural environment.

Below is the language used for Proposition C found on the sample ballot at http://www.harrisvotes.com/SampleBallot/SampleBallot.pdf
