Here are a few well edited videos that illustrate and explain the glass recycling process. Advances in glass sorting technologies now allow a greater percentage of glass items to be recycled and reused, thereby saving natural resources and reducing energy use and carbon emissions. Glass that is collected from dedicated drop-off bins and commercial collection programs tends to yield higher quality recovered container glass, because it arrives mixed with fewer contaminants.
