We environmentalists always find creative ways of protecting the natural world. We’ll block oil ships with kayaks, go nude, camp just about anywhere, and of course, climb trees. But we’ve never climbed trees as gracefully, or with as much persistence, as these Moroccan goats.

Standing with enviable ease on the branches of an Argan tree in southwestern Morocco, these milky white ruminants make even the noblest human tree-sitters look clumsy. Photographer Michael Chinnici, who captured the goats on film, explains on his blog that the goats scramble up the trees in search of the tasty Argan fruit. But wait, it gets better. After eating the fruit, these tree-lounging goats defecate the seeds, which are collected and ground to produce an oil that is a key ingredient in a popular hair care product. So, it's safe to assume that behind those placid, Zen-like expressions, they're thinking, "You're welcome."
