San Francisco’s Community Choice energy program, CleanPowerSF, will bring clean, renewable power to all of the city’s energy consumers when it launches in 2016 – but only if we can clear one more barrier at the ballot box this fall.
The disingenuous “Truth in Energy” ballot initiative — which will appear on the November ballot as Proposition G — is an attempt by PG&E’s interests to stunt CleanPowerSF’s successful launch with unfair restrictions that would favor the dirty utility monopoly. The utility interests know they are losing as CleanPowerSF moves forward; this is their last-ditch effort to prevent the program from being competitive.
Please join us for an afternoon of wine, hors d'oeuvres, and clean-power solidarity as we raise funds for our local ballot measure advocacy. Together we can defeat PG&E’s energy scam.
