VA-02 Glenn Nye (D)
Endorsed by the Sierra Club, Nye believes in a new energy policy that would restore our environment. He supports investing in renewable energy and a cap-and-cut carbon emissions at a rate that will ensure reductions of 80% by 2050. Nye says he will support legislation that will curb carbon emissions from coal-fired plants that he will uphold the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act.
