NJ-03 John Adler Senator (R)
Endorsed by the Sierra Club, Adler has continually opposed proposals to drill for oil along New Jersey's coasts, and supports a nationwide renewable electricity standard. He believes Congress should provide tax incentives for energy-efficient buildings and appliances and set new mileage standards for all cars at 40 miles per gallon. Adler was also the sponsor of "New Jersey Clean Cars Act," which adopted the California auto emissions standards into New Jersey law.

Lance supports renewable energy tax credits and increased domestic oil drilling.
