Endorsed by the Sierra Club, Kissell is committed to fighting global warming, preserving public lands, protecting the air and water and investing in renewable energy sources like wind and solar. Hehas promised to support legislation to reduce global warming pollution 15-20 percent by 2020 and 80 percent by 2050. He also supports legislation requiring that at least 20 percent of the nation's electricity come from clean, renewable sources by 2020 and legislation to improve energy efficiency in buildings.
