Endorsed by the Sierra Club, Pingree supports a cap-and-trade system for greenhouse gas pollution, as well as the production tax credit and a renewable portfolio standard to increase America's commitment to renewable energy. Pingree also wants to end subsidies for the oil, gas and coal industries.
