Who are we

We are not large, but we are vocal, energetic and determined. Over the course of this past year alone, Bucks County has engaged in the following activities:

Organized Buses for the April 29th People Climate’s March in Washington, D.C.

Organized and helped to lead Outings in the local area that drew in folks from outside our County

Helped to bring into Bucks a free showing of the nationally televised film “From the Ashes”…. the human story behind the Coal Industry and how its slow demise is affecting the people involved.

Lobbied local townships to sign up for RF100

Participated and Testified at the PennEast pipeline hearings at the DRBC on several occasions

Met with aides of Senators Toomey and Casey to protect National Monuments under review and Bears Ears and Grand Staircase Escalante Monuments in particular

Helped to organize and sponsor a large presentation to the upper Bucks community regarding the Penneast pipeline that had several significant organizations sending their speakers

Participated and supported organizations standing against ELCON

Participated in the Water Monitoring Training that was offered Club-wide

Wrote numerous letters to the editor on environmental issues

Participated in local cleanup efforts

We would like to welcome you personally to our Club. Hope to have your voice and your spirit and your energy join our efforts!
