Pam Drake
"I have been politically active with the Democratic Party since the mid 1980's including working as a Field Organizer for the Michigan Democratic Party and working both as a volunteer and paid consultant on numerous campaigns throughout the years. As a mother and now grandmother, protecting the environment is not an issue I feel we can just talk about. I feel it is important to be active in a positive and meaningful way. I believe being active with the Sierra Club is a good way to focus my time, talent and resources. I was very honored to have received the endorsement of the Sierra Club when I ran for State Representative in 2010 and I would love to take this opportunity to give back."

Programs

Our next event will be Buy Local Food-Support a CSA on February 24, 2015 at the Allen Street Market in Lansing, MI 7pm to 9pm. We will have several local community supported agriculture farms out to talk about the importance of buying from a local farmer and to promote their upcoming season. This will be a great chance to learn more about CSAs and to meet the farmers who supply our Mid Michigan area.

Thank you for all you do for the environment! Please vote for our Excom by emailing helen_48895@yahoo.com by January 26!
