Gulf Coast Update

I just read an article about shipping containers dumping meat into Gulfport neighborhoods. I live in Gulfport. Today our neighborhood still reeks from the smell of rotting meat -- pork, chicken, shrimp and who knows what else! I was forced to leave by the storm and returned to find that contamination from shipping containers did as much damage as the hurricane. You have to throw out your shoes after walking on the ground, it's horrible! I am staying in Memphis and returning to Gulfport almost every weekend (spending a fortune doing this and there are still no hotels available so we bring a tent). I am trying to get information about the contamination (health risks, what will be done etc.) from city officials but my questions and e-mails go unanswered.
