Potomac River Coal Plant
The Virginia Sierra Club is currently working on the “GenOFF” campaign, which seeks to permanently retire the GenOn Potomac River Coal Plant. GenOn is currently burning on standby, taking up a beautiful piece of waterfront property in Alexandria. This plant provides no power or benefit to the people of Alexandria, while continually polluting the Potomac River.
