Beyond Coal Connecticut

The Connecticut Chapter is educating the public on energy conservation through the website, coalitions, and local events. We are also working with local energy task forces to recruit towns for the Cool Cities Campaign. Green transportation is also on our agenda as we pursue a new rail corridor between New Haven and Springfield MA. In addition, we have a full plate of environmental legislative initiatives. After all this, we need some fun too with a full schedule of hikes and kayaking trips with six outings leaders.
