As both scientist and member of the Citizen Patawatomi Nation, Robin Kimmerer shows us that the awakening of our reciprocal relationship with the living world is dependent on understanding the generosity of the earth and learning to give our gifts in return. Her first book, Gathering Moss, won awards for nature writing, and Braiding Sweetgrass should be on the table of all who care about the environment. Her writings have appeared in Orion, O magazine, and many scientific journals. Join us for this great opportunity to hear Robin tell about Braiding Sweetgrass and her unique relationship to the earth.
